Just announced: Summer lift opening!
It has been confirmed by the S3V (the Société des Trois Vallées) that they will be running selected lifts between 5 July to 28 August 2020, with appropriate measures of protection, for summer holiday visitors.
The La Tania gondola will as usual be running for free, but the other lifts will require the purchase of a pass, which is available from the Le Praz Alpinium lift office, the main desks in the Courchevel 1850 Croisette building, and online.
This is great news for the hikers and bikers who visit during July and August to appreciate the mountains in their summer attire of green grass and alpine meadow flowers.
Did you know? The Col de la Loze cycle route opened last year and is a challenging mountain route for road bikes. It starts at the Courchevel Altiport, it is 7km long with the final 5.8km restricted only to cyclists. The average incline is 7% and the Col de la Loze is at 2304m. It opened this year on May 11th, with the snow cleared especially!
