There is nothing better than wearing the latest ski clothing and accessories when you hit the slopes this year for your ski holiday.
2015 Ski wear is dominated by many new additions ranging from cool hard/soft shells, insulated system, superior stretch for smooth movement, creative venting system, body mapping designs for optimal performance, hi tech innovations, brand new styles, specific features and materials specially designed for the type of snow sports you love.
Oakley Aircraft 3L Gore Tex Jacket
The Gore-Tex constructed jacket not only keeps you warm and dry but its neat system of vents retains a cool air flow around the body. The new improved jacket is waterproof, windproof and has a triple-layer membrane for increased durability. The RECCO reflector add on feature is a big plus which is a rescue system used to help during avalanche hits. The Aircraft 3L Gore Tex Jacket is ideal for extreme and extended use and the ‘Snap Storm Skirt’ acts as a defensive barrier to prevent snow and water from getting in. The snap system can be easily attached to the top of the pant allowing quick and easy movements to remove and reattach.
Falke ESS Air Insulation
The Falke ESS Air Insulation was awarded the prestigious ISPO award for being one of the best products in the sportswear sector. The ski underwear is designed using a special knitting process which enables the ventilation holes to grow in size when you move enabling maximum temperature control and moisture management. The polyamide fibre comes embedded with crystals which converts the body heat into infrared rays and improves blood circulation. The process helps and increases the body’s performance.
According to Falke, ‘The outfit, made up of two products, allows for 18 individual variations. The shirt with face mask and gloves can be customised by the sportsman just as easily as the stirrup trousers. Thanks to the knitting technique, the long trousers can be turned into ¾ lengths for example, using scissors but without the threads becoming detached.’
BearTek Snow Sport gloves
The BearTek Snow Sport glove is one of the coolest accessories on the market. There are so many things you can do without taking your eyes off the mountains. According to BearTek, ‘The gloves work with two interchangeable modules, the patent pending Bluetooth/Wireless Sync Module technology and the Camera Module. This technology is the core of our one-of-a-kind finger touch control system; touch points on the glove give you wireless control of your phone, music, media, and camera – letting you answer calls, play/pause and skip music tracks, and capture your ride in video or photos – all while simultaneously providing warmth. BearTek gloves provide optimized grip for handling equipment, comfort, and excellent moisture resistance to ensure endless hours on the slopes.’
