Trace Snow
Trace Snow is ranked as the number 1 sports app by Men’s Health Magazine. This ski and snowboard tracking app is the most used and highest rated app for skiing and snowboarding in the world.
The app allows you to measure speed, airtime, distance, vertical, calories, time and much more. It tracks your progress over the season, compares your rating with friends, push your stats to facebook and replay your runs in 3D.
Trace Snow is also the official app for the ski resorts of Steamboat, Winter Park Resort, Mt. Tremblant, Snowshoe, Stratton, Blue Mountain, China Peak, Mont-Sainte-Anne, Stoneham, and Canaan for 2015. You can use the app at these mountains and earn bonus medals for rewards and upcoming events.

Alert5 app enables you to send out an instant message during any emergency on the slopes. It provides an instant alerting system by sending out a map of your location to a list of your chosen contacts.
The app has customisable options and different types of alerts including an emergency alert that is sent out automatically after a certain amount of time if by chance you have moved beyond a given radius from your starting position or a combination of both.
Ski and Snow Report
The ski and snow report app features more than 2000 resorts around the world where you can create a customised list of your favourite resorts along with hour by hour weather conditions, powder alerts and resort opening dates.
The app uses GPS to alert you to the closest piste with the best weather. Friends can even upload personalised reports to inform you of certain places to avoid.

SkiFit8
SkiFit8 app is developed by physiotherapist and clinical experts at Chamomix which aims to prevent accidents and injuries by putting together a fitness programme that strengthens the body in preparation for a ski holiday.
The app consists of routines for beginners to pro skiers and features over 100 different exercises aimed at making you a better skier. The exercises focus on improving key muscles, flexibility and balance to minimise injury and allow maximum fun on the slopes.
REALSKI
REALSKI app is the first augmented reality trail map for ski resorts. The app uses the iPhone’s compass, camera and GPS to tag points of interest that comes under the phone’s viewfinder.
The app has over 80 additional maps and enables you to name the runs, chairlifts, facilities and other services ahead of you when you hold the phone up on the iPhone’s live camera view. You can even take pictures from within the app and share pictures and comments via facebook, twitter and email.
The app allows you to experience and enjoy augmented reality even if you are not at a resort. Through the virtual visit mode you can view the augmented reality makers for the fictional Moose Creek resort as if you were standing on the slopes.
