Ski Magic transfers will be operating for the winter season with our fully licenced and insured vehicles. Availability will be limited so be sure to get in touch early!

Our experienced drivers are trained in winter conditions. All of our drivers take medical examinations to ensure that they are safe, fit and healthy enough to drive.
We are fully insured and licensed by the French authorities to carry fare paying passengers and offer private or shared transfers. Our license number is 2010/82/0000487.
We are also working with local partners for any transfers we are unable to provide, and will put you in touch with them via email.
Self Drive
Driving to the Alps is not as challenging as it sounds as French autoroutes are generally quiet and stress free.

Travel By Train
On The Snow recommends the Three Valleys as one of the easier Saturday Eurostar train journeys from London St Pancras to Lyon Part Dieu. Change there for Moutiers-Salins, which is just 20-25 minutes’ drive away from our Ski Magic chalets in La Tania, Courchevel le Praz or Meribel. We offer transfer services from the train station, just send us an email or give us a call and we’ll talk you through it.

Chalet Arrival and Departure Times
The chalets will be ready for new guests to check in after 4pm on arrival day. However we will make somewhere available for you to leave your bags after 10am until the chalet is available at 4pm.
For late arrivals after 7pm, please contact us so that we can make necessary arrangements.
So that our team have time to change over the chalet, we ask that all guests depart by 9.30am. We can store luggage if required.
A note about insurance…
Please bring your EHIC (or GHIC) card with you on your ski holiday. It is also essential that you are fully insured with Winter Sports insurance which covers illness, accidents, baggage loss and cancellation. Please ensure that your insurance includes winter sports!

EES and your ski holiday in 2025-2026
The EU’s “Entry-Exit System” (EES) will be rolled out over the course of 180 days from 12 October 2025 to 9 April 2026, so it will affect British travellers to Europe during the ski season. You won’t need to do anything in advance, but because of the data collection, we strongly recommend you leave plenty of extra time in case of queuing.
Users aged 18+ will need a valid, biometric passport. Accompanied minors won’t have their biometrics taken, but their facial image will be taken by a border guard. Data to be collected includes: passport information (name, date and place of birth, gender, nationality, passport number, issuing country, expiry date); date and time of crossing the border; facial image and right-hand fingerprints.
Large and medium-sized ferry ports and airports plus Eurostar/Eurotunnel terminals will be equipped with Pre-Registration Devices (PRDs) – kiosks or helpers with tablet devices – where users are advised to input their information before going to the border guard.
What to expect at the airport/ferry port
The first time you travel to the Schengen area, your biometric data will collected. For future visits, only the details regarding your current trip will be required.
- Provide information about your holiday via the PRD (a kiosk or a personnel member with a tablet). You will need answer the questions about your trip and confirm that you have adequate funding to fulfil the return journey.
- You will scan your passport on the photo page
- You will be photographed by the kiosk/tablet
- Your fingerprints will be scanned
After this, you can continue on your journey as normal!

Transfer to Three Valleys FAQs
Can I book flights and transfers through Ski Magic?
Ski Magic chalets do not include flights so guests are free to book flights that suits them best from their nearest regional airport. We do offer transfers from Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery airports. For those travelling by train, we can also offer transfers to and from Moutiers-Salins train station.
