Ski Hire Courchevel
At Ski Magic, we offer our own in-chalet ski hire service at competitive prices and have skis and boots to suit every level.
Avoid lengthy queues in the local hire shops and have our certified ski technicians fit your equipment in the comfort of your chalet, usually on the evening that you arrive in resort. Prices are comparable to those charged in the local shops and are not artificially inflated to then offer a huge discount. Even better: you don’t have to take your kit back at the end of your stay! Just leave it in the chalet and it will be collected by one of our team.
Pre-booking your hire equipment is easy via our online form, and you will need to do this one week before your arrival in resort so that we can prepare your equipment to deliver to your chalet.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our ski technicians will visit the chalet on your arrival day (from 16:00 onwards) bringing equipment to the chalet according to the information you have provided in advance via our online form. If you have any problems then we can easily swap equipment at no extra cost during the week.
Please contact us if you have any queries. Ski Magic ski hire is payable in resort in Euros. The price includes free insurance for minor damage, however loss, theft or damage beyond normal repair will be invoiced during your stay.
About our ski hire
- Our skis are hired only to Ski Magic guests.
- We only use top-brand equipment, which is updated regularly.
- All our skis are serviced after each use by our qualified ski technicians in our specialist workshop.
- To help you decide which skis to order for your group, we have placed our range of skis into three categories based broadly on ability/experience level.
- Please note that our ski collection includes piste skis only.
- We recommend helmets for all skiers, not just children.
- For snowboards and more technical equipment such as off-piste/all-mountain skis we can recommend a specialist partner in resort – please contact us.
Ski Magic ski hire pricing
Value Skis – a great entry level ski for people who have skied for up to 4 weeks. These skis will still be easy to turn but will be more stable at slightly higher speeds and will help take your skiing to the next level as you gain confidence on the slopes.
Intermediate Skis – these all-round skis are great for those with 4+ weeks skiing experience who are progressing from intermediate to advanced level. You’re a skier who enjoys the freedom of the mountain: starting to carve your turns, trying moguls and testing the off-piste.
Performance Skis – for experienced skiers with good technique, looking for a great piste ski which carves strong turns, grips on hard pack and is stable at high speed. These are our top end skis so if you want the best, choose these!

You can pre-order your skis through Ski Magic and our ski tech team will deliver them to the chalet for you to try on before you head out onto the slopes the next morning. It couldn’t be easier!

Do Ski Magic do snowboard hire?
We don’t stock snowboard equipment but we do work with a local hire company partner for our snowboarding guests, just ask us and we’ll put you in touch.
