Chic Chalet Caroline makes a fantastic base for your Three Valleys ski holiday. The contemporary styling gives Chalet Caroline a fresh and open feel, made cosy with a designer fireplace. With the wraparound balcony, the light pours in and you have a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and forest. This gorgeous chalet apartment is all on one level, and the four main bedrooms offer flexibility with a mix of doubles and twins, each having either a bath or shower room en suite. The bunk room off the living room also has an en-suite shower room.
As usual with Ski Magic holidays, you can expect free WiFi, satellite TV, DVD player and various classic board games, plus there are plenty of books to flick through. Bed linen, towels and hairdryers are provided in all our chalets.

Where is Chalet Caroline?
About the setting
Around three minutes’ walk from the slopes, Chalet Caroline sits on the edge of the ski resort of La Tania in the Three Valleys.
This peaceful setting (in a small residence of just three properties) gives uninterrupted mountain views of the opposite peaks, facing west. With huge windows and balconies, Chalet Caroline makes a blissful spot for relaxing with a drink before dinner as the sun sets.
For skiing, you can walk from the chalet to the track which leads to the piste adjacent to La Tania’s nursery slope. From there, it’s an easy ski to the ski school meeting point or under the bridge to the main La Tania ski lift.
For those on foot, access to the village is via an access road leading to the Pub Le Ski Lodge, Saveurs des Alpes deli/sandwich shop, and Le Farçon restaurant.

How to reserve Chalet Caroline
1. Select your chalet or room/s and your chosen arrival date
2. Click ‘Hold Chalet’ – your selected rooms will be reserved for 48 hours (no payment at this stage)
3. To confirm your booking, pay a deposit of 25% via your ‘mychaletbooking’ account login
4. The balance payment is due 10 weeks before your arrival in resort.
5. Add party details, airport transfers, ski hire or lift passes via your account.

How many guests does Chalet Caroline sleep?
Chalet Caroline has four double/twin bedrooms for 8 guests, and up to 10 with the bunk beds. All the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. All the rooms in this chalet apartment are on one level making it ideal for younger children.
Is Chalet Caroline in a nice area of La Tania?
On the edge of the village, Chalet Caroline is in a peaceful location and has wonderful, uninterrupted views of the mountains to the west. It is a chalet apartment within a small residence in which there are three other apartments. It’s a short walk to the slopes, from where you can ski to the village or the main lifts (and easily ski back via Folyeres piste at the end of the day). For those on foot, it’s a short walk of a few minutes into the village.
What meals are included in the catered chalet service?
A catered chalet is more than just a simple ‘half-board’ service. When you choose a Ski Magic catered ski chalet, breakfast and afternoon tea is included every day, with meals provided for you on six evenings, leaving you free to sample a local restaurant or takeaway on one evening. Is La Tania good for beginner skiers?
Yes, La Tania has a great nursery slope for beginner skiers and snowboarders to learn in safety, away from the main slope. It is quite a recent addition to the resort and is ideal for learners to acquire the basic skills and learn to turn and stop on a gentle run. The nursery slope is very easy to access from Chalet Caroline.
La Tania also has good ski schools to help you learn safely and build confidence ready to take the ski lifts.
